Sure! As long as the engine is in good shape. You will want to add additional freshening components of course, such as new oil pump, lifters and timing chain assembly at the very least and if the short block has any signs of accelerated wear or concerns then having new bearings installed may be worth it just for peace of mind since the 6.1L engines are not easily replaced.

Hi Gipsy East from Canada I've got the same car an 06 SRT8 6.1 and was wondering the same thing as what you've asked so thank you very much looking for used parts heads intake you know something that somebody's tried out didn't like it they went a different route and they want to sell their used stuff please let me know
